Excitement!

Just a day and a half until our vacation! We are so excited to finally have a few days off together.
We will be camping at the head of the Bowron Lakes for a couple days, spending a couple nights in Barkerville's haunted hotel and then maybe camp in Horsefly for a night or two on the way home.

I bought some lovely fleece artist somoko in a blue-purple-brown colorway. I'm hoping to make some beautiful socks with a honeycomb pattern.

Today I went grocery shopping, on the way in to the store I was approached by a couple of women to see if I wanted to donate money towards cancer. I went over to the booth and found that If I donated a certain amount of money, one of the runners will run with a name on their shirt. So I signed up and wrote "Kim Galloway we love you". Then one of the women that was doing the sign ups said that she was a friend of Kim's and then the other women said she was too. We all started reminiscing about Kim and started to cry. Someone (not me, for obvious reasons) will be running for 60 kms with "Kim Galloway we love you" on their shirt.

Hopefully I will have loads of fun vacation photos of Drew and myslef for my next post.
