Christmas

We are so excited about Christmas this year.
This year will be the first Christmas at the cabin. Drew and I will be staying in the little guest cabin with the dogs, while Momma, dad and Greg will be staying in the main cabin.

This will be the first time we do the family tree hunt. It will be fun to strap on some snow shoes and hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.

One actual Christmas Drew and I are going to see what people who don't celebrate Christmas do. We plan on going to a movie and then eating out. I work both the night of the 24th and the night of the 25th.

Pottery is finally coming out of the kiln all glazed and pretty. I have been testing white glazes lately. I have never used white as it is so boring. However with a hint of other color, white can be a wonderful background color.
I am sad on how my tea pot turned out. It shrunk a lot. and is heavy. I glazed it, but it won't be usable. I think the glaze may have plugged the spout hole.

We never have had more then one day off together at Christmas. This year we have 3 days!

Christmas will be magical this year. It will be amazing to be with my family at a place that we love. Sharing every moment with the love of my life.
