Oh man, this was a move to remember.
It went fairly well until I lost the bed. Yup, the bed flew off between Merritt and the highway summit. Traveling alone I wasn't able to get it back onto my very tall vehicle. So it had to stay on the side of the road.
My new home is great. I get a long well with my roommates and their pets. It is still a bit of a shock to have roommates instead of a husband. I have to keep the door closed to the bathroom now and do my own dishes. yuck.
The roommates have this wonderful pitbull names Duke. Duke comes into your room in the morning and crawls into bed with you, just like Smudge and Lola, only he is much much larger. He is a farty dog however, so once he is in your bed you can't open the sheets. OR ELSE.
I have a few work interviews lined up for next week already. Tomorrow is my official resume day and hopefully I will be working starting next week. Today I set up 3 interviews but I was more interested in shopping for living supplies. It was nice to go shopping and only buying the food that I like. Poor Drew will have to fend for himself.
Drew is coming for a visit 26th and 27th. We were trying to come up with a plan, but I think he has the Vancouver itch and wants to come back more then I want to go there. HAHA.
I also have a new studio that I am going to check out tomorrow. it is called claytek. It is absolutely beautiful. Take a look! really nothing in Vancouver could be as inspiring as the view from this studio. The rates are totally affordable too. Compared to other studios that are charging $150 a month.
Vancouver is so much fun and I am so happy to be back! Even though I am sleeping on the floor with a farty dog, I rather do it this way then not doing it at all. Plans still stand that we will come out this summer to visit.
Yay! Duke sounds like my kind of guy!
