July 1st 2009. Drew and I think its a great idea to ride our bikes to the Canada day events at Riverside Park. My lovely girly bike once belonged to my Monther-in-law who I didn't think was much taller than me. Until I got onto the bike.
The seat isn't quick adjustable and you need tools to lower the seat. I was to lazy to look for the tool needed to lower the seat, thinking everything was ok.
The ride down to the park took mere minute. We looked around became bored and decided to go home. The city closed this little road from cars, so only foot traffic and bikes were able to be on it.
This little road also happens to be on a little hill. So I changed gears, like most people would have. While changing gears on my bike my chain fell off. I cannot touch the ground with my feet. So I am forced to petal very quickly, but without my chain on I go nowhere. Except sideways. That's right people. I fell of my bike while I was still rapidly peddling. I hit my head on the curb, hurt my elbow and skinned my big toe. Did I mention it was Canada Day?? I did this in front of hundreds of people in which lots and lots ran to my rescue.

I'm still jobless and feeling pretty hopeless. I have a job lined up however I need to pass my class 5 drivers license before I start work.I just failed my class 5 and now have to wait 2 more weeks until I am able to re-take the test. I'm going to see if I can take an automatic car (mom any ideas on who's I can use?) Both Drew and myself have standard cars.
With all of my free time I have been dying loads and loads of yarn and fibery goodness. I"m ready for my etsy shop to open and have loads and loads of hand spun and hand dyed to sell. I figure that I am also going to sell on ebay. Just because it is almost impossible to make a living off of etsy. I don't really want to make a living off of etsy but do want to sell a few things a week.
here is a picture of a pound of kid mohair that I dyed up. I have 4 more pounds of this to go! 2 pounds will be kept un dyed
Today is the worst day of them all. Today I am prepping for tomorrow's 7:30am appointemnt for a colonoscopy. Yes everyone, I am talking about the taboo subject of colons. Right now I am feeling fine but I am scared about what is about to happen. I took my medication 2 hours and 17 min ago, I read that it can take up to 3 hourd for full effect. I sent Drew out for flushable baby wipes and more TP.
Also a very smart women told me to go out and buy depends for this procedure. Drew and I have been laughing non stop about having to wear depends. After posing for some pictures in my sexy new undies (to send to my Best Friend) we laughed hysterically for 10 min. Like the laughing that makes you cry and gasp for air. I can't wait until this is all over.
I"ll spare you the sexy pics of the depends.
Drew is home with my flushable wipes and TP! I wont keep you posted on the goings on.
