I can't show any pictures of my knitting for obvious reasons. But I assure you, most people that I am shopping for will be getting a little something hand made.
The exception would be daddy-o. He has massive feet, hand, head........ and I'm quite lazy. He will be getting something hand made by me, but not knitting.
I'm very excited to try thrumming for a gift for my girlfriend. Thrumming is a style of knitting where you also incorporate fiber as well as your yarn. You loop fiber along with the yarn to make the inside of what you are making fuzzy. So you know those mitts you can buy with the fuzzy in the middle, that is thrummed.
I am done my knitting for Christmas except for the thrummed gift and have moved onto knitting for myself. I am knitting this lovely lace pattern in a hot pink with sparkle yarn that I dyed myself. I am making heart socks... Yes you read that right.... Heart socks! I'm sure they will be amazing

I have also been going to the gym... I come out of the gym vibrating and beyond exhausted. But I know that things will get easier and I will enjoy it. When I go to the gym I think about Kim. I remember Kim saying that she was going to the spa instead of the gym. It was something her dad said.
It has been one year and one month since Kim passed away. Drew and I have been thinking a lot about her and miss her tremendously.
