We still have the truck, So mom don't go fretting. The truck runs really well and we have no desire to sell it. Plus it carts our new scooter around quite nicely.
Well anyways. The back story.....
Drew and I left Friday morning to go off to the cabin for our anniversary trip. We took the Volvo and also the canoe and canoe trailer in tow. About a 1/4 of the way to the cabin the car decided that it couldn't handle the pulling of the trailer.. So we had to turn around and take the canoe and trailer back home. We decided to insure the truck and then drive it to the cabin instead.
We got the the cabin in one piece but sans canoe. Which was heart breaking, since our trip was all about fishing and paddling.
Anyways. We did a lot on our wonderful holiday. We went and saw Dawson Falls.

We spent a lot of time in the gazebo. Drew brought his laptop so we could watch a movie while being outside, BUG FREE!

We went back and forth to Clearwater and witnessed Strawberry fest, and a farmers market. We had a nummy bagel with cream cheese and jam at a little cafe called "the kettle".
We also went for a nice back road drive behind a village called Burch Island. It was beautiful!!
On our way home from our drive we saw a HUGE bear. it was an adult for sure and was about 300 yards from us. Not close at all, but still close enough to see that it was big. HAHA
Other then the bear and a single Deer on our way home, we didn't see any wild life. However we heard bugs or bees in the chimney buzzing around all night. Their buzzes were amplified threw the metal chimney.
While on our vacation we came to the conclusion that we needed to seriously rethink owning our turbo wagon. She wasn't cutting it. She should be able to pull 200 pounds with no problems at all.
And she made us mad by making our vacation a little less exciting.
When we were in Clearwater we received an e-mail about a possible trade. And by Sunday we were confirmed honda ruckus owners... On Monday we picked up our new bike. Got rid of the volvo. became a lot more happy. and started to take thing a lot more slowly.
We love our new scooter. We plan on modifying it and making it have more cc's. I think if we want to be able to drive the scooter up the hills here in Kamloops, we need to make it a bit stronger.
Tonight we took it on our first test drives! It is a fun little thing to drive... A little weird since it doesn't have a seat belt. But it will be perfect for us to have for in the city. it costs $4 to fill the tank and $30 a month to insure!!
Oh and his name is Sarge, Marge (truck) appears to like him. She had to give him a lift home tonight.

Now Drew is making me watch "the Passionate Eye" on CBC... Depressing story about all the shit going on in Mexico.
