Things have exploded

Well things have been crazy over the last month. And it is a good thing.
We have packed up and are ready to move at any time. We are just waiting for the ok from our new land lords. We can't wait to have a home where we can open the windows and not smell smoke and even better..... no more air conditioning! yes people do think we are insane. But air conditioning kills both Drew and my throats and also makes us cold. A fan works wonders and plus it is better for the environment.

The scooter has been treating us very well. I got to take it to my day job which is nice since I get to park it for free.
I have a new day job. I work as a drug and alcohol screen tester. I test people going back to work on the oil rigs and also for the ministry. I love this job!! I get to go home for lunch everyday and let out the dogs. I still work my other job plus I picked up a third job. What ever job can offer me most hours will become my secondary job to my new day job.

Drew has given his notice at the movie theater. I wanted him to just walk out with a big "Fuck you" sign on his back. But he wouldn't comply. I"m not entirely sure why he wouldn't cooperate with me.

Today is his first day at his new job! I can't wait to hear about it when he gets home. He appears to be very excited about the brew house. And even more excited about the great discounts on beer and food.

Drew and I have been going to the beach on our time together. It is a nice change of pace since both of us work so much. Even if we can slip in an hour or 2, it seems to help us unwind and lets us take life into perspective. And I love that!
Yesterday we drove down this road by the river saw a sandy island in the middle of the river and decided to swim to it.. We got to the river and found that we could just walk across. So we spent the afternoon at our own sandy beach alone. on the other side of the island the water was much deeper so we could go for swims. It was such a nice change!

Smudge will be going on a new over the counter medication (pepcid ac) for his puking and licking. Apparently he licks and licks because he feels nauseous. we can give him a half pepcid and it should cure him! I can't believe that we didn't know this all along. We have been dealing with daily pukes for the last year. I"m so excited about the prospect of a puke-less dog!

Other then both of us starting new jobs, moving and the beach, nothing at all has changed. We are happy and in love as always.
