I get my love of festivals and parades from my mom, and just like her, I get super excited when I get to go to one.
On Sunday imagine my happiness when my friend Dre and I stumbled upon a Persian festival in a local park.
Dre and I have decided to go for walks a few times a week when we can. On Sunday we decided to do the sea wall in West Vancouver at Ambleside park. We heard some pretty funky music and we saw some tents threw a clearing. We headed over and there was a full blown festival. What a treat! We got Persian food, watched people dance, listed to groovy music and then continued on our way.
After our walk we decided to go to this new Asian market near where we parked.
I have only seen the amount of fish and crab at the Aquarium.
We saw a HUGE, MASSIVE crab. I want to make a sculpture of it out of porcelain. I think that it would be amazing.
Yesterday we had an amazing sunset. My roommates and I sat on the deck with some beer and watched the sun go down behind the city. It was a great moment.
Today I walked the sea wall around Stanly park. It was wonderful, but totally freezing. I forget how much cooler it is by the water. It is also a lot more windy.
Also two days ago we had hail the size of golf balls. I took a picture off the deck at work. Crazy!
keep these great photos coming
