Birthday

Well tomorrow is my birthday and I am so excited! Even though I have got all my gifts, its not about those things. Drew and I both took the day off of work!
We are going to have a picnic for lunch and then mini golf! I want to go for a hike with Lola and Drew as well.
At 6:30 Drew, Doug and I are going to storms for dinner. I hope they serve wild salmon.
I have found a new yarn addiction. Cherry Tree Hill Yarn is amazing sock yarn! I have been making socks like a mad women and can't wait until Christmas when I can give them all away. I am also getting some Wollmeise in exchange of hand made socks. It seems that people what what I have. And so I get to trade and not spend money!
This weekend I actually have the weekend off! I have all day Sat and then am on call all day Sunday. So I get to poke around here and get some spinning and dying done!
I started to clean all of that llama that I got.. OMG this llama is frigging amazing! It is softer than alpaca with at nice long staple. there is quite a bit of debris in it. I'm finding that a picker or even combs would be really good right now. But the carder is working pretty well. I just have having to clean it before doing other batts.
On Saturday I am going garage sailing with a friend. We are both looking for dressers. I am also looking for a desk and a cargo carrier for the volvo.

Drew and I have decided to take the volvo on our trip after all. I think that sleeping in the car has won us both over. Although we wont have air conditioning like in the civic. Both cars have their pro's and con's.
We have decided to go to Tofino first on our holiday. I'm not sure why, maybe we miss the ocean. But both of us are super excited to get out to the sea.
