what a wonderful life

Drew and I had a wonderful date today. After sleeping in we decided to go for a drive. We drove out to the lower Cariboo and spent the afternoon shopping in little shops. We didn't get to far because Drew had to work this afternoon, but we did go to Cache Creek.

Also Drew and I have a few days off together in June and have decided to go to Barkerville. I think it will be a great get away. We plan on staying in the haunted hotel that mom and I stayed in years ago. We will camp the other night in the Volvo and then come home on day three. I'm excited about hanging out in Wells and the Bear Paw cafe and gold panning.

Also there is a possibility of getting a new puppy. Our breeder has more puppies that are not show quality. And Lola is alone a lot of the time when I'm working 24 hour shifts and Drew is working 9 hour shifts. She in the kennel all alone for hours at a time and so after talking to the landlords we have the ok to get a brother or sister for Lola. Drew is gung ho on the idea of a new puppy, but I have my reserves. We saw two dachshunds at the dog park and they really fed off each other. They loved each other and played non stop and also seemed like a little gang. When they were alone they acted quiet and reserved like Lola, but when they were together they were fun and active and a little crazy. And that is what we want in a dog. Lola may be a bit depressed so maybe a second dog would pull her out of it... Again I'm not sure this is the time for a new dog. We know that we are in a great home that we are going to live in until we move to the East Coast. But I still don't think that its the greatest Idea that we have had... We will have to wait and see what happens. I think the Landlords are more excited about the idea then Drew. When I asked them today they were both jumping off the walls excited.

Yesterday Drew and I went and bought a vacuum sealer for my fiber. I"m mailing so much out now a days that the cost of shipping isn't worth it. I vacuum sealed 4 oz of fiber and it cost me only 3 dollars to ship to the US! normally it cost 6.66 for 4 oz.

I found a supplier that is going to ship me large quantities of Merino top and corridale top. I'm looking for a supplier for dyes now as well so I can start dying. I will be getting my etsy account up pretty quick!!

Here are the pictures of the puppies that we get to choose from. take a look. I like the long hair female puppy number 2 and also male puppy 3.
