I have cast one about 4 projects in the last 3 days and each and every project that I cast on, I have had to rip back.
I seem to have forgotten how to count. cast on 54 stitches, four rows later I have 60 stitches! How the hell do I gain 6 stitches in four rows?!
I started a lovely new blanket and I forgot how to do a type of stitch... for you knitters the stitch is SK2P.... but I forgot to slip the slip knit over the 2 pearls.... I did this a total of 14 times.... meaning that I have 14 extra stitches. So I have to frog back to the row before and then slip all stitches wrong ways. ARGH.
I have been working A LOT. Maybe my brain is just..... dead?
I went to my knit group today and people were still excited to meet "Long Dog Yarns" I gained a lot of new customers and sold more fiber today! I also designed and ordered my new Business cards today! I should get them within the next couple of weeks.
I have been loving my new hobby, long boarding! And proof to my worrisome mother, yes I wear a helmet!
My wonderful, supportive, sexy, amazing husband makes the best cupcakes ever!
And Lola says that she doesn't get enough attention on my blog. I told her it was because she is black and hard to get a good picture of. This one isn't much better then any other ones we have.
Oh dear sounds difficult with knitting..except for with sk2p you would have ended up with 28 extra stitches because sk2p means slip 1, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over! Hope it gets better from here!
ReplyDeleteexactly. So I only gained one stitch pr time I did it. Meaning 14 stitches.if that makes sense. I counted and yep, 14 sts to many. Booooo
