The Element

Well Today Drew and I bought a new Car.
With the help of Doug, Drews dad, we have an amazing and safe vehicle to drive.

We are so excited about it. We can go on trips and visit Manitoba, go camping at Tofino and also flip down the seats and sleep in it.

It will be very handy if I need to use it to transport clients and wheel chairs, or if we ever get large dogs. The interior is a plastic material and you can just hose it off. The seats are made of some cool fabric that just whipes clean, great for puke and wet dogs.

We are hoping to get to Saskatoon this summer after the family reunion to see Pam and Joe. And now we know that we can get there without worrying about breaking down. Really it is a peace of mind.
This was a ridiculously scary purchase and gave us buyers remorse before we had even purchased it. But now that we have it in our possession we are in totally in love.

She is sleek, sexy, black and fun! She is a five speed manual transmission with loads of torque. She is speedy and turns on a dime...
Get this.... She has POWER STEERING!!! I have forgotten what it was like to be able to steer with one hand.

She comes fully loaded. We were hoping for heated seats however none of the Element models come with heated seats due to some kind of sensor in the seat to tell the vehicle to deploy airbags. It is so neat to have power options and air conditioning which we have never had.

The back seats fold up so you have a little room in the back, you can also take the back seats completely out, or you can fold them down over 90%. if you fold the back seats back and the front seats back they line up to make a queen sized bed. It has 3 power jacks and an aux jack for our ipods.

I don't see us growing out of this vehicle. And we really hope to have this car for a long time.
