Hello all!
Things in Vancouver have been going well. I am working at 3 different jobs and still have 4 more interviews. I am hoping to walk into a full time position instead of have 2 part time and one casual job. Things have been very busy and I feel like I am falling apart a bit.

The cost of gas is very high and the cost of fueling an SUV had gone threw the roof! I walk when ever I can. I live in Vancouver but have to commute to New West, north Van, West Van and also surrey. So I have a lot of driving that I have to do. I really am happy to have a reliable vehicle. Marge would likely have already bit the dust if we still had her.

I love the area that I am in. It is called Hastings Sunrise, and is located just off the highway and to the west of North Renfrew and east of Naniamo. I am looking at an apartment on Naniamo on Friday. I am really hoping that we land it although it doesn't seem to have a deck. We are also looking at a tiny little 2 bedroom house in North Van. We will see if it will work out next week.

I can't believe the difference between Kamloops weather and Vancouver's weather. It is so warm here. Flowers are out and the cherry blossoms are so pretty. In Kamloops it is still really cold and windy. It was quite the shock when Drew came up for a visit.

Drew is also coming up April 8th for my birthday. what a wonderful husband I have! I hope we get to do some great things together like last visit.

Smudge and Lola are on my mind all the time. I miss them a lot however I do enjoy not having to worry about them when I work a 13 hour day. I can't wait to see them again but sadly I won't see them until Drew moves up here. My work is unpredictable and I can't miss any shifts until I am a little more stable.

Drew is super excited about graduating! only 2 weeks left of school and then his exams and he is done for the next couple years! He will likely have to do some specialty classes to get him into an actual career, but not until I am done some schooling. He has been going to school for 7 years! crazy I know.

It has been quite rainy or at least drizzly in Vancouver and I am so happy that I got contacts before moving up. Nothing is more annoying them getting rain on your glasses then trying to wipe them clear with a shirt that is also damp from the rain making smear marks on the glasses. It is one of my biggest pet peeves. HAHAH. Today I had an interview for coastal contacts. It would just be fore customer service part time. But right now, the more I work the better and also quicker time goes until Drew is with me.

Anyhoo. I"m done talk off your ear.
