My friend Carmen and I went to Deer lake to study, this is what we found!
Deer lake in Burnaby. Looks clean right? turns out it isn't at all. I walked in the water and got 2 bacterial infections, one in my right ankle and one in my left calf. Huge swelling and pus balls. Antibiotics helped. all from a dirty lake!
